Birth Boot Camp: Out-of-Hospital Birth Series

Tuesdays, 1/16 - 2/6, 6-8:30pm

If you are planning to have your baby at home or at a freestanding birth center, this class will give you the nuts and bolts of labor. Learn what happens before, during, and after birth, as well as variations of labor. 

This is an evidence-based comprehensive natural birth education series that helps prepare couples for pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and more. Be prepared, informed, and active in your birth!

Kat Chronis is a lifelong lover of education and aspires to start graduate studies to become a family nurse practitioner once the kiddo(s) are a bit more independent. Advocating and educating are two big reasons she became a nurse experiences in neurosurgery, intensive care, and home hospice. She found her calling as a nurse and practices holistically at an integrative family practice in Milwaukee, caring for all ages. She holds a BSN in nursing, BA in psychology, and is a few credits shy of a BS in biology.
Kat is also a lifelong lover of music and in March of 2015, the day before she went into labor, she and her partner started up a new endeavor with Creekside Music & Naturals, an eclectic shop combining their loves of music and earth-friendly, body-friendly goods. Her two-year old son has been the store "manager" since day three of life and can be seen toddling around jamming on his ukulele. :)
